EZ Office has allowed us to track our spending, usage, and overall asset inventory to a whole new level. This gives us a centralized place to store old designs, quantities and usage history. Our systems, procedures and products have been able to evolve and live in previous people with the help of EZ Office. Unless I'm mistaken, the biggest missing feature is simply the ability to purchase EZ for a company and then add different departments/teams. This would be great for different aspects of the university and everything we use together in terms of promotional materials and items.

Configurable inventory tracking for a wide range of applications
Knowing where things are, who has them and when we can expect them to be recovered has helped streamline our work across the office.
ADVANTAGES
I like how we customized EZOfficeInventory to individual needs. This allowed us to add different types of gear and assets for our entire team to follow. Having a good mobile app was also important to us.
CONTRAST
Sometimes you have to get used to the hierarchy of things, such as the menu or the location of resources. Fortunately, our admin was able to make a lot of useful changes using the customizable EZOffice UI to streamline our workflow.

As a new user who has never used similar software, I have a lot of criticism.
ADVANTAGES
The ability to search for an asset by serial number, asset ID, comments, etc. is very useful.
CONTRAST
I find it difficult to process many resources at once. For example, when printing labels, if the batch is not easily filtered, it is difficult to get everything in one go. If I want to print multiple labels that have nothing to do with filtering, I'll have to print each one separately. You've created a situation where the missing asset number will simply be dropped and left in a retired state indefinitely. My company has also dropped the check-in and check-out features due to the limits of members that can be added and the difficulty of keeping up with who needs to be added or removed. It makes more sense to indicate in the comments who verified the resource, as it is much easier to implement and manage. Another note, we have IT and non-IT assets. It would be very useful to be able to divide them into groups that can be associated with an administrator account associated with each department.

You can easily divide your IT and non-IT resources based on different groups and locations - the custom roles feature allows you to limit users to only their assigned groups, which in turn will prevent non-IT people from viewing your IT resources. There are several ways to select assets from different sites, but we would like to know more details about how you currently use them. We are currently evaluating payments for several people and would like to hear from you on this. The inventory comes full circle
ADVANTAGES
Ability to track assets at any time in multiple locations. Ease of use when training new employees in the system. The overall user interface is simple and straightforward, you don't have to search all over the place to get the job done.
CONTRAST
The only con is would be a better phone app and the way some menus work. As for the computer side of the software, there is nothing to talk about.

Overall a good tool. My company may lose some Microsoft sign-in settings
Simple, well, it does the job. If you don't have password management software, you'll probably lose it eventually.
ADVANTAGES
Most people don't see inventory management as a value adding task. It's not done often either. Every time an office tool is moved, employees are distracted from their original job and have to learn how to use this management tool. I've seen some of these tools and they had a lot of tricky features that took 15-20 minutes to complete. Thanks to this tool, I learned to manage inventory in 3-5 minutes, even if I was doing it for the first time.
CONTRAST
This tool has a separate login password that you must remember. Due to the infrequent use of this tool, passwords are often forgotten. There is a possibility to integrate the login process with Microsoft, but for some reason it cannot be used in my case. I'm not sure if it's my company's fault or the EZOfficeInventory tools.

We are still migrating from our old asset management tool to EZOfficeInventory, but I can see that it is much better than our old tool. We are very happy from now on.
ADVANTAGES
EZOfficeInventory is really easy to use.
CONTRAST
The default resource directory view is a bit confusing as I was trying to find a single resource, not a resource group.

I love the Control Panel feature!
ADVANTAGES
The board of directors, of course. Being able to see most aspects of our inventory control on one page is very helpful. The customization is also very good. This gives us the flexibility to track various aspects of our assets.

Great asset tracking
It's much easier to use than trying to manually track assets in an Excel spreadsheet like we've been doing before. As our small business has grown, we have introduced this and so far it has been great.
ADVANTAGES
While there are many steps to follow, the cloning tool is very helpful. I also like that you can easily update locations when items in the office move or change hands. We mainly use the software for assets such as furniture and IT equipment.
CONTRAST
I don't deal with the financial side of asset value taxes that fall over time etc so I can't vouch for that side. But as the user responsible for purchasing and registering all office supplies we purchase, there are several click paths that can be optimized. For example, adding photos to a resource file. For some reason, you can't add a photo when creating a new post, you have to fill it out and save it, then go back to the post to add specific items like photos. It just seems so easy to fix. However, only a minor inconvenience.

Student overview for school resources
Overall I am very pleased with it. I had no problem picking up the equipment from school and returning it.

My approach to EZOfficeInventory for universities
I was an employee who implemented and configured this system at our university and on a daily basis I work in a team that uses this software. We have about 200 active in our system and over 5000 users. We use this system to manage reservations and rentals of technological equipment such as speaker systems and cameras. Overall, the system worked well for our needs, but I can say that it is not optimized for this use case. We love the customer support and flexibility of this software.
ADVANTAGES
In our case, the most valuable feature is definitely the ability to retrieve user information from our existing LDAP system, so we never have to worry about creating user profiles or authentication. We also love the "basket" module which saves us time checking multiple resources for the same student/employee.
CONTRAST
It's frustrating that Carts isn't set up as part of the core software and is instead a plugin. This means certain features such as sending alerts based on cart activity or viewing cart bookings alongside single product bookings. I think this is probably due to the fact that this system is designed for companies to manage their resources among employees, but we are implementing it as a customer/service lending system as a kind of technical equipment library.

EZOFFICE inventory object
My personal experience was great. When I talk to potential customers, if they have specific hardware preferences, I can easily access our inventory to see if we have that specific hardware right away. It is very easy to use. It's not clumsy in any way.
ADVANTAGES
It is very easy to use software. Before choosing, we looked at other software. What we liked was the ability to customize it without having to call tech support. We can easily track all our inventory with a barcode, no matter what project they are assigned to, via the mobile app or online.
CONTRAST
As soon as I get an answer, I will update. We are very pleased with the software.

EZOfficeinventory is simply easy to use. It is simple in the way it allows you to tailor your inventory database to your business needs. In the event industry, time is money. I can't waste my time figuring out what's in the inventory and what's not. There are times when I need answers for yesterday so I didn't waste them and I can't waste them because my inventory software can't provide them.

Robust and simple for retail and ticketing, navigation not so simple.
I prefer EZoffice over other stock tracking apps I've used in the past due to its ease of use on the web and mobile, but the UI needs some work.
ADVANTAGES
I like the way each service and item can be linked to a schedule of events and activities.

Organizing your preferred information can be a pain. I don't know some functions unless I specifically look for them.

Exactly what we needed
We exit a custom inventory solution through FileMaker Pro. It was set up about 15 years ago and nobody knows how to set it up anymore. We looked at various inventory management systems and were put off by the cost or lack of features. EZOfficeInventory offered us the BEST price and had as many features as its competitors. It only took me a week to set up and load our database and prepare it for the audit. It was just me working alone while doing my daily chores.
ADVANTAGES
It is feature-rich and easy to configure. I had no difficulty converting our very outdated inventory database to EZOfficeInventory.
CONTRAST
It would be very convenient if we could load more than 1000 resources at a time. Other than that, no complaints so far.

He made the change easy
The software we were using before the switch was extremely complex, and while they advertised customization, it was minimal. The software took too long to do anything and there were many changes between screens in the software. With EZOffice, I can edit almost everything from one screen, and I can do it in bulk if I need to change a lot of things.
ADVANTAGES
I love that while the software is fully customizable by the user, the software itself is incredibly easy to use. Being able to create my own line items and customize them as needed was an amazing feature for me. Also, when I went to import our assets from the software we were using, I really expected to have to go in and adjust anything that didn't fit. But EZOffice was smart enough to realize this was probably going to be a problem, so when I imported all the fields from the older software that didn't match the field in EZOffice got marked up and I had the option to choose what I wanted the field to be the field to be named.
CONTRAST
Honestly, I haven't had a bad experience with EZOffice.

While Wasp works for some people, it wasn't the product we wanted or needed. It was too complicated for a fast-growing company like ours.

Effective inventory tracking
ADVANTAGES
It is very easy to use and web based. It provides custom fields and is flexible in adding products. This platform allows for effective tracking, management and automation of warehouse operations. Good for your first inventory and money system!
The implementation phase was a complete disaster. I was never given the opportunity to let EZ handle the implementation and planning. The phrase: The system is smart and will teach you has been used quite often. While the system is quite intuitive, EZ needs to do some initial setup to show a new user its capabilities. When I contacted [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] things got better. My first supporter was from Asia which made their available hours very inconvenient and I had to wait over 24 hours for a response. We're still working on fixing some technical issues and fine-tuning the way the system works for us.

Ease of use, unlimited users for a lower price than other software.
CONTRAST
Some features are limited or need to be built. No customization possible.

EZOfficeInventory: adapts to our usage needs and is flexible in customizing the user
Our department was looking for a cloud resource management solution to manage thousands of tools with hundreds of users worldwide. Cloud asset management helps us track each asset's usage and status. We also share our resources between sites in different countries. EZOIofficeInventory is fully featured with flexibility so we can tailor the features to our needs.

I tell people all the time that EZ should put me on the payroll as much as I praise and recommend their services! I have been using EZ for a total of 4 years and love every part of it. It is incredibly easy to use and keeps all the data you need at a glance between the comments section, custom fields, and attachments. They have sufficient levels of control that they are not overwhelmed by their inclusion, but still maintain the required level of security. I am currently using it to organize/maintain the samples department where we have samples from all over the world with different specifications. Each piece (some have multiple quantities and some are single item) must be tracked with specific details maintained between 7 divisions and 4 divisions. Needless to say, it is an amazing tool for keeping your assets under control and accountable. Your customer service is phenomenal! Whenever I have a question, they respond quickly, provide accurate answers (including links), and even implement my suggestions, which helped with the workflow. The definition of EZ is work smarter, not harder. Keep up the hard work EZ! You make my job so much easier!

EzOfficeInventory is an affordable inventory tracking option
Since AIN wasn't the default option when I started the company, assets were a mess. I had to export inventory, sort by groups and assign AIN numbers and re-import. using the description so we had HP Dock, Lenovo Dock, docking station. Basically what the person entered at the time of adding, so I had to export it and fix it. It would be nice to ask if you have a base pool or would you like to use it?
ADVANTAGES
You really can track as much information as you need. We just need to track the resource tag and who has been checked out. But as a business, you can even track how much you paid for each item when adding inventory. So it allows you to track as much as you need.
CONTRAST
I'd like a different inventory category for available inventory not to be checked when adding inventory. The way we fix this is to change our AIN to put it in a different reporting pool. The default option using the resource number is not a good option because this number cannot be changed, so if you set it as the default after the system rollback, there will be gaps in this number, making it difficult to track the number of resources in use or available at that time. The default option should be AIN.

It was already in place when I started and was recommended as a Zendesk app that connects to it.

After about thirty minutes of training, I was able to jump into this software and learn how to fix it. Being able to customize the interface, change settings, and have very clear pictures of what I'm looking for made the time to get used to the system much faster than I expected.

Great inventory management.
ADVANTAGES
Very easy to use and keeps everything in order.
CONTRAST
The only cheat I would add is searching items by asset number as I have to add a pound sign in front of the asset. If I don't, all assets that contain these numbers will be displayed.
